Athvika Senthilnathan

Hi everyone! My name is Athvika and I’m excited to be running as Clubs and Societies Editor for the Gazette. Being a part of several clubs and societies this year has shown me just how valuable they are. It's all about building community, confidence and connections. Whether it’s a Wednesday sports night, society performances or a casual club meet-up, I think we can all agree these moments help shape our university experience. I want to capture that energy and bring it to life in the magazine.

What I’ll bring to the role

• Behind the scene interviews - from organisers to attendees, I’ll share perspectives from all sides to show what goes into making events happen and why they matter to students
• Inclusive coverage - I’ll highlight everything that makes the Imperial social life unique, aiming to cover the range of clubs under ICSMU
• Podcast series - fresh, brutally honest and entertaining reviews of student nights out and society events

I am extremely passionate about sharing the energy and aim to motivate people to feel excited to join new clubs and societies. I will work closely with members to make sure everyone’s experiences are being shared and that the section is as exciting as the events themselves.
