Celebrating Tamil culture, creativity, and unity, Mega Maalai brings people together through more than just dance, it’s a cultural experience that highlights the richness of Tamil heritage. Megamaalai makes an impact beyond the stage by giving back and supporting the community through charity. I am excited to contribute to the growth and impact of Megamaalai both on and off the stage.

As a member of the Tamil Society subcommittee this year, I have been given the opportunity to organise and participate in multiple events such as Games Night, Sponsorship hunts etc. This has helped me better understand and develop qualities such as collaboration and planning, which I can employ as Head of Megamaalai. In particular, I was able to help out on the show day of Megamaalai and observed how the excellent team work and management qualities from committee enabled the event to proceed smoothly. This motivated me to take on a bigger role at Megamaalai next year. I believe I can use skills that I have developed and work within a wider team involving committee members and more in planning a perfect Megamaalai.

I am excited to take on a role as Head of Megamaalai and with your vote, this will be possible to deliver an improved Megamaalai experience.
