Hi everyone!

I'm Anirudh, a 4th year medic and I’m running for Krav Society president.

I think of Krav as not just a place to train, but a proper community. My main goal is to continue growing that community and make Krav something everyone at Imperial can get involved with, regardless of background and experience.

Some other goals are:

• Structured, term-wise training - so you know what to expect in every week's lesson
• Regular socials - because talking to each other mid-choke can be difficult
• Krav on campus - host taster events and workshops to promote self-defense
• Collaboration - with other martial art societies and universities

Most importantly, I want Krav to be that thing in the week you look forward to most - where you can learn real defense and build your confidence all whilst having a laugh afterwards over a pint.

That's the kind of community I'm hoping to shape (even if none of us remember the technique we learned last week).
