University is more than just lectures and exams — it’s a launchpad for our future. That’s why I’m standing for Deputy Head of the Careers Department (Academic): to help create a supportive academic culture that not only promotes excellence in study, but also connects students to the world beyond campus.
I believe that academic growth and career readiness go hand in hand. As Chinese students navigating a competitive environment, we deserve more than just information — we need guidance, inspiration, and access. If elected, I will work to strengthen the link between academic development and real-world opportunity, helping students build the confidence and clarity to pursue their goals. This means fostering a culture of peer support and long-term thinking, while also opening doors to industry leaders, alumni, and professionals who can share insights and experiences that textbooks can’t provide.
My goal is to make CSSA’s academic branch a bridge — between students and knowledge, between effort and achievement, and between campus life and the careers we aspire to. Vote for me if you believe in a future built on academic strength, meaningful connections, and shared ambition.
