Hi!

I am Uma and I am a third year student in Chemical Engineering :)

The Imperial College Women in Business Society has been incredibly helpful to me in shaping my career plan in Business. By becoming part of the committee as a Marketing Manager last year, I wish to keep boosting the society’s presence at Imperial and carry on inspiring more female students to also help them with their career in Business.

Experienced in Marketing Strategy and Social Media Management by helping a small business for 3+ years grow their attractivity and online presence
Experienced in Graphic Designer by creating logos and posters for another business, making me fluent in Canva and Photoshop to design eye catching materials
Very motivated and active, I am very committed to spend time working in this role
Organised and very good time management
Love to communicate, work both independently and in teams and collaborate to create the best ideas!

Beyond wanting to become Head of Marketing at ICWB this year, I would particularly like to foster meaningful connections within our society. I aim to know our members personally not only by supporting their career ambitions but also to create a dynamic and friendly community atmosphere.
