Hi, I’m Thuva, a 3rd year medical student, and I’m excited to run for sponsorship officer of Pathology Society.
I’m very interested in pathology and keen to support a society that helps students explore this vital field of medicine. Pathology underpins so much of what we learn and practise in medicine, and a well-supported society can inspire more students to engage with it early on.
I believe strong sponsorship is essential for running high-quality events, bringing in inspiring speakers, and offering valuable resources that benefit all members.
I’ve had previous experience with sponsorship and understand the importance of building professional relationships, negotiating mutually beneficial deals, and ensuring clear communication with partners. I’m confident in my ability to approach potential sponsors and represent the society with professionalism and enthusiasm.
If elected, I’ll work hard to secure funding and develop long-term partnerships that will support the society’s growth and help deliver impactful, inclusive events throughout the year.
