Yuting Huang

I am here to stand as a candidate for Deputy President (Internal) of the Chinese Students & Scholars Association (ICCSSA).

Over the past two years, I have served as the Head of the Media Department at ICCSSA, and this year marks the end of my third consecutive year as an active member of the organization and begins the fourth year. Through my past experience, I have gained a deep understanding of the internal structure and operational needs of the association, as well as developed strong communication and leadership skills.

If elected, I will work to foster an efficient, inclusive, and collaborative environment within ICCSSA, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across all departments. I will also take steps to enhance our outreach and engagement strategies, such as managing the volume and placement of advertisements on our media platforms to better serve and inform our audience.

In terms of events and initiatives, I plan to organize welcome sessions to help new Chinese students integrate into the community, and hold regular social, cultural, and sports activities to promote engagement and well-being. Additionally, I aim to initiate and support events that connect students with job and research opportunities in China, furthering both their academic and professional development.

Finally, I will work to streamline internal processes, including simplifying the application and approval procedures for funding requests, to make our support more accessible and responsive.
