I am the perfect candidate for alumni officer:

officially old (le sad)
desperate to ~~cling on to power on committee~~ help the youth
all of my friends are working now so if I don't do this I won't see them
socially awkward
can name alumni most of you have never even heard of (the twins! the marias!)
got a MANCHESTER ALUMNI to come examine mock finals, showing insane powers of alumni wrangling

As alumni officer, I would continue to pay Shiras to come back from Bristol for exams and I will use all emotional blackmail tools to make other alumni come back too.

I would like to finally organise alumni dinner / knees up! I think this is possible by downgrading it to "alumni pints after mock finals".
