Himanshi Gupta

I’m a second-year student studying Economics, Finance, and Data Science. Over the past year, I’ve worked in investment management and built strong relationships with investment banks and asset management firms through networking events and this summer’s recruiting cycle — connections I’m excited to leverage to bring new firms and impactful events to the Investment Society.

Having completed the SEC and served as a Junior Analyst within the society, I’m well-acquainted with its operations and deeply value the role it plays in improving access to sell-side opportunities and information for Imperial students. I’m eager to further that mission.

I’ve taken on active roles across campus; as my department’s Academic Representative, Women in STEM’s Events Officer, and VP of Projects at Imperial Consulting Group, I’ve consistently reached out to new people and successfully launched interesting events. Additionally, running my own non-profit organisation and serving as its ambassador has taught me how to build and sustain strong external relationships.

I’m confident that these experiences have equipped me to expand the society’s sell-side reach and deliver opportunities that benefit our members.
