Avan Majumdar

Hi, I’m Avan. I study EFDS and recently finished an internship at a renewables M&A advisory. This summer I’ll be doing research on decarbonising the energy sector with an academic from INSEAD.

I’m running for VP of Talks because I want to bring in big names and fresh ideas from across the energy world — from clean tech to finance to policy.

I’ll focus on:

• Talks that are actually interesting and useful
• Speakers you’ve heard of or genuinely want to learn from
• Helping grow the society into a proper hub for energy at Imperial
