Climate Entrepreneurs: Co-Chair

Hi, I am T-Yan, a 2nd Year Material with Nuclear Engineering student. I have always been passionate about clean energy, climate solutions and entrepreneurship and would love to help promote innovative thinking with regards to those areas as Co-Chair of Climate Entrepreneurs.

Having interned in a start-up for 6 months, I have first-hand insight into the inner workings of start-up operations and my consultancy internship this summer will further develop my business acumen. I also bring strong experience in outreach and events, having previously secured sponsorships and organised large-scale initiatives in other committee roles.

As Co-Chair of Climate Entrepreneurs, I seek to

Strengthen our Hackspace programme by helping more students bring their ideas to life through better support and resources.
Secure new partnerships by expanding our network to connect with more industry partners and mentors and generating more opportunities.
Host impactful networking events to foster connections between students, alumni, established entrepreneurs.
Ensure smooth, professional delivery of all events and the Climate Pre-Accelerator Programme.
Increase awareness and engagement to grow the society by highlighting the real-world value it offers to aspiring entrepreneurs.

I hope to be able to encourage further innovation in the field through my involvement in Climate Entrepreneurs.
