The Phase 1 Mock Lead plays a central role in Muslim Medics, overseeing the delivery of the Mock CPA and OSCE exams for 1b and 1c students. It’s a position that ensures these flagship events continue to provide accessible, high-quality clinical exam preparation.
Having been part of the Muslim Medics committee this year, I’ve had the opportunity to help run a range of mock exams - including Finals, PACES, and CPA. This gave me valuable behind the scenes insight into what it takes to plan and execute these events, from logistics and station setup to tutor coordination. I’ve seen first hand the impact of smooth organisation and where small improvements can make a big difference.
With this experience, I feel well prepared to take on the responsibility of Phase 1 Mock Lead. I’m committed to upholding the high standards MM is known for and ensuring the mocks remain useful, supportive, and stress free for everyone involved.
In addition to the core mocks, I’d also love to introduce optional revision and recap sessions for students who may need extra support or don’t have individual CPA or OSCE tutors - to help make our mocks even more inclusive and impactful.
I’d be honoured to continue contributing to this vital part of MM’s work.
