Dear all

My name is Ying(Sarah) Zha, and I am running for Vice President of CSSA.

Over the past three years, CSSA has been a huge part of my university life. As this year’s External Deputy President, I’ve had the privilege to work closely with both our internal teams and external partners, organising successful events and building strong collaborations. Through this journey, I’ve come to understand not only how CSSA operates, but how much potential we still have to grow.

If elected, my vision is to build a CSSA that is more connected, inclusive, and impactful

My Key Goals:

Stronger Community: Create more regular and small-scale events to help members form deeper friendships and support networks.
Cultural Presence: Deliver high-quality cultural events and cross-society collaborations that showcase Chinese culture on campus.
Career & Academic Support: Introduce more networking sessions with alumni, mentorship programs, and academic support initiatives.
Open Communication: Establish regular feedback channels so that your voice guides our actions.
Leadership Growth: Provide training and support for committee members, encouraging initiative and long-term development.
