Yuchen Ma

Hi, I'm Yuchen Ma, currently running for Vice President of the Chinese Student Union at Imperial College London. As an international student deeply connected to our community, I am passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive, and inspiring environment for all Chinese students at Imperial.

Having experienced the challenges of adapting to a new academic and cultural setting, I understand the importance of strong peer networks and inclusive activities. If elected, I will work closely with the committee to deliver high-quality events—from professional development workshops and cultural festivals to social gatherings that foster friendship and collaboration.

My vision is to bridge the gap between Chinese students and the wider Imperial community, strengthen alumni connections, and ensure our voices are heard within the university. I will advocate for more career and mentorship opportunities, bilingual support for newcomers, and stronger partnerships with other student societies.

With experience in event planning, team leadership, and communication, I am confident in my ability to serve and represent you with integrity and energy. Together, we can continue to grow a vibrant and united Chinese Student Union that empowers every member to thrive.
