Hi everyone! My name is Gerald, and I’m excited to run for this year’s volunteering officer (local). Joining UNICEF is really meaningful to me because it supports an important cause. I believe that as a university student, my focus is not only on my personal life and environment but also giving back to the larger community.

If elected, my vision is to strengthen UNICEF’s local impact by mobilizing volunteers, raising awareness, and driving meaningful initiatives that support children and young people in our area. I will focus on three main priorities

1. Expanding volunteer engagement through inclusive and accessible opportunities.
2. Organizing impactful local initiatives like fundraisers, educational workshops, and advocacy campaigns.
3. Building partnerships with local schools and organizations to amplify our impact.
