Kush Bhalla

Hello!

My name is Kush and I am a first year Chemistry with Molecular Physics student. I am standing for the position of Treasurer of ProtoSoc because I am really passionate about supporting a society which encourages creativity, innovation and collaboration.

One of my main goals is to make sure finances are well organised in order to support regular events and fund exciting new projects. I aim to keep spending transparent, making it easy for the committee to plan ahead. I also hope to explore ways to bring in extra funding to the society.

Through my experience with a student-led startup based in the Hackspace (CO2llect), I have become familiar with the prototyping environment and logistics behind budgeting and managing resources, which are key to this role.

I've really enjoyed taking part in events such as the 'Give it a Go' workshops, and I would love the opportunity to give back by helping the society stay financially strong and ready to support new and innovative ideas. I would really appreciate your support in making this happen!
