Hi! I’m Rustam, an incoming second-year Economics, Finance & Data Science student who has spent the last year turning class projects into small AI tools. Nothing flashy, but enough to see how rapidly theory becomes impact when linked to industry. From analysing bank datasets during an internship to writing weekly market notes, I’ve learned that access to people doing the work accelerates learning more than any tutorial ever could.
As Head of Corporate Relations for the AI Society my promise is simple: connect our curiosity to real-world practice. I will secure partnerships with AI labs and startups willing to run mini-projects with us; arrange monthly “behind-the-model” sessions where engineers walk us through live code, not keynote slides; and set up a rolling internship alert system so opportunities land in your inbox first. My success will be measured by how many of you leave each term with a mentor, a side project, or a foot in the door - because the best society benefit is the one that follows you into your career.
