Neurotechnology: Outreach Officer

The endless possibilities and untapped potential of neurotechnology have always fascinated me, encouraging me to further explore the subject and share my passion with others. Hence, I would be honoured to become the Imperial Neurotechnology Society Outreach Officer to continue expanding the vibrant community. I would strive to amplify existing relationships and build new connections within the extensive network of neurotechnology, ensuring our students get the best opportunities and outlook on the ever-developing field.

Beyond possessing extensive skills of organisation, time-management and communication, being the Head Student in my previous school and leading multiple international projects has enabled me to develop skills in public speaking and networking which are essential for the role. Moreover, living in 4 countries and working on a growing Medtech start-up, means I have built a multitude of connections within the STEM and investment fields, which I could utilise to expand the outreach of the society internationally. I am constantly bursting with new ideas, and if elected, I’d be excited to bring this energy to the role by launching unique events and connecting with inspiring individuals across the neurotechnology community. I am willing to work hard and dedicate my time to ensuring that the partnerships, events and speakers ignite curiosity and embody the core values of the imperial cohort.

From collaborative events with other societies to thought-provoking Thursday talks, I am excited to explore the sheer possibility of expanding the society’s reach, forging meaningful partnerships and placing Imperial Neurotechnology at the forefront of the neurotech ecosystem.
