Sadie Boyce
Hello, I’m Sadie! I’m running for Economic Industry Officer to make economics more accessible, inclusive, and exciting for every student, across all interests and backgrounds.
During sixth form, I participated in Goldman Sachs and Lloyds insight programmes and recently the JPMorgan Chase insight programme, so I’ve seen first-hand how important it is to bridge the gap between economic theory and real-world careers. As a member of the London Wildlife Trust Youth Board and a former student leader, I’ve developed the skills to organise high-impact events, lead with purpose, and amplify voices that need to be heard.
If elected, I will:
Host Insightful Speaker Events
I’ll bring in a diverse range of speakers from institutions like the Bank of England, the Treasury and leading think tanks to discuss economic policy, career paths, and global challenges.
Connect Students with Industry
I’ll organise panels and networking events with economists, analysts and policymakers to help you explore career paths and discover internship opportunities.
Amplify Student Voices
I’ll ensure our events reflect your interests – whether in sustainability, development or behavioural economics – and make all sessions engaging, inclusive and student-led.
Celebrate Inclusion in Economics
I’ll highlight pathways for women, ethnic minorities, state-educated and first-generation students, and ensure our events empower everyone to see a place for themselves in the field.
Deliver Well-Planned, Impactful Events
With experience presenting to professionals and running events from school assemblies to mayoral roundtables, I know how to make events that are smooth, informative, and engaging.
Let’s make economics accessible and exciting.
