Hey guys! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Hana and I’m running to be your next orchestra manager!

Being part of music society has been a great experience and a large part of my uni life so far. As a scared little fresher at the start of the year, I felt truly welcomed by everyone in such a supportive community and I am grateful for the friends that I’ve made. <3

After talking to committee members and being a Fresher on Committee this year, I have been amazed by how dedicated people are to the society and how much time they put in to make Music the community it is today. This has inspired me to give back to the people who have done so much for me and help welcome new members.

I would love to specifically be orchestra manager next year as I love being part of the ensemble since it got me back into enjoying playing the violin. Also, the number of times that that I would catch myself singing Danzón during term one was actually getting a bit embarrassing! I’m excited to welcome new freshers and people to join orchestra and put them through a Meal Deal Olympics- ps the winning deal (aka mine): Tesco turkey & trimmings sandwich; maple and pecan pie; and mango tango :)
