HEY GANG I’m Roshan and I would love to be your orchestra manager next year!!

For those of you who don’t know me I am a first year maths student (yuck) in orchestra, jazz band and choir!

As orchestra manager I am confident that I would keep everything running smoothly thanks to my experience transcribing, transposing and sourcing music both before uni and this year during my time as fresher on committee. And since I won’t be wasting my time fighting musescore I will be very busy planning some BOMB socials. My dream would be to make post rehearsal socials regular and be as good as the weekly jazz band ruddles club which is no joke currently the highlight of my week. I also think we should ditch biscuits at break time – stay with me – and instead have a weekly mukbang that we definitely have the funds for.

On a whole, I really do love this society and all the friendships I’ve made because of it. Having had the amazing opportunity to be the Orchestra’s concerto soloist this year and getting even more behind the scenes with fresher on committee I can’t wait to help contribute even. The encouraging environment of everyone in the society is so special and I would love to be part of the awesome team who make everything work as it’s been the best start to my 4 (#fakemedic :( rip) years here.
