Aqsa Syed

Hello everyone,

My name is Aqsa Syed, and I am running to be your Academic Representative for Year 1 Computing.

I am passionate about helping others and making sure that everyone’s voice is heard, especially when it comes to issues like assessments, deadlines, and academic support. I know how valuable it is to have someone approachable to share concerns or feedback with.

But beyond just listening, it’s just as important to make sure that feedback is actually acted on. As your academic rep, I’ll be that link between our year group and the staff, pushing for clear communication.

If elected, I will:

Actively gather feedback from all of you.

Raise issues directly with staff and follow up to ensure they're addressed.

Work to create a positive, supportive environment where everyone can succeed.

These first few weeks have already been great, and I believe that together, we can make our first year at Imperial even better.
