Hello everyone,
My name is Ziyi Cheng, a third-year Biomedical Engineering student on the Elec Stream. I am running for Academic Representative because I believe that solving problems and improving our student experience should be at the heart of this role.
If elected, my priorities will be:
-Championing Student Concerns: I will actively listen to your feedback and work with staff to find solutions, especially around critical issues such as exam arrangements and results. Your academic challenges matter, and I will make sure your voice is heard.
-Collaborative Problem Solving: I value teamwork and will strive to work alongside fellow students and faculty to tackle any academic or departmental challenges that arise.
-Friendly and Transparent Communication: I believe in being approachable and open. I’ll keep you updated on any developments and decisions, and I’ll always be available for a chat if you have questions or concerns.
My aim is to make our department an even better place to learn and grow. With your support, I hope to help create a positive and supportive environment for everyone.
