Camila Goncalves Leon

Hi everyone! My name is Camila, and I’m running to be your Third Year Biochemistry Academic Representative.

Although many of us already know each other, I’m also really looking forward to meeting those who were away last year and joining us again!

Serving as Academic Events Officer for BiochemSoc was one of the highlights of my time at Imperial, and it inspired me to continue representing our cohort. I want to be a reliable point of contact where you can share your thoughts, concerns, and feedback, and I’ll make sure these are effectively communicated to the department.

As we begin our final year, I aim to make our academic experience as smooth and rewarding as possible. Whether it’s unclear instructions, overlapping deadlines, or difficulties reaching the right people, I’ll work to ensure we have clearer communication and stronger academic support across all modules.

I want to be someone you can turn to for guidance and help, not just to raise issues but also to find solutions together. You can usually find me on the fifth floor, and I’m always happy to chat, listen, or offer advice. If not, feel free to reach out to me anytime!
