Harvey Lu
Hi everyone! I’m Harvey, and I’m running to be the Year Wellbeing Representative.
I believe a great university experience isn’t just about academics — it’s about feeling supported, valued, and connected to the people around you.
I’m someone who’s empathetic and approachable, and I want to help create a space where everyone feels comfortable speaking up about their wellbeing — whether it’s stress, workload, financial concerns, or personal challenges. I’m a good listener and genuinely care about understanding different perspectives, making sure no one feels overlooked.
If elected, I’ll work closely with the department representativesto make sure your feedback gets taken seriously and changes made. Inclusivity is central to my approach. I’ll work to ensure our course community supports every student, no matter your background or identity.
Ultimately, I want our Bioengineering cohort to be more than just academically strong — I want it to be a place where we support each other, celebrate our differences, and thrive together.
