Students can often feel lost as they embark on university life, especially for us in first year, where everything has changed, a new course, new friends, new life. I’m sure everyone, myself included, has asked 'Am I really supposed to be here?’ Many of us feel quite overwhelmed, with a speedy start and being thrown in at the deep end on brand new subjects. I believe that throughout our time at Imperial, we should be there to support one another, to celebrate the highs and provide comfort in the lows, and I hope to encourage this network to grow and flourish. I’m enthusiastic about finding the person behind the student and reminding people how their self-worth is found in their laughter, their hobbies and their passions.
