Pranav Sharma
Hey everyone! I’m Pranav, and I’d love to be your wellbeing rep for next year! Genuine connection and participation in our communities have been the most important things for our mental and physical wellbeing — some of my own happiest and most memorable moments have come from them. I want to help bring that same deep sense of care and community to all of us in the department.
As someone experiencing the same pressures and challenges, I understand your perspective, and I want to listen to you — whether it’s just to chill and chat or a friendly face to raise your ideas and concerns. As your representative, I want to focus on 3 things:
1. Events: I want to make a regular focus on running events that build community, promote wellbeing and are a lot of fun! (we’ll be much better than the other departments)
2. Academic and Wellbeing Balance Sessions: For when EIE does get really intense, I want to hold discussion spaces for us as first-years to create a free and open space where students can share experiences, advice and just support each other, without judgement.
3. Communication: I would ensure the department values our ideas, having been heavily involved with the student experience throughout school, being a part of the UK Youth Parliament, I’ve had experience in navigating and getting ideas to actually make a real difference.
I really hope to have your vote to make our department a supportive, inclusive and vibrant community!
