Samanvay Sehgal
MSc Management - Candidate for Postgraduate Taught Representation Chair

"Voice. Vision. Value.”

As your candidate for Postgraduate Taught Representation Chair, I want to make sure every postgraduate student’s experience is heard, improved, and celebrated.
My focus is on policy, inclusion, and meaningful action that makes daily student life better.

If elected, I will:

Standardise Academic Feedback – Push for clear marking timelines and structured feedback formats across departments, ensuring fair evaluation for all taught programmes.

Representation Accessibility Policy – Create transparent communication between course reps, departmental reps, and Union officers through monthly open meetings and digital feedback trackers.

Workload & Wellbeing Charter – Advocate for realistic coursework scheduling and improved access to counselling and peer-support during high-stress periods.

Skill Integration Platform – Launch inter-departmental project spaces and peer-learning events to connect students from business, science, and engineering for innovation beyond the classroom.

Together, we can build an inclusive postgraduate community that stands for clarity, collaboration, and care.
