Alexandra Dahlgren

Hi everyone!

My name is Alexandra and I am a 3rd year student from Sweden. This year, I have been the Year 3 Academic Rep and I really enjoyed it! I would love to get to know more of you and extend my role to the department as departmental well-being rep. If you vote for me, I will try my best to organise more fun events for the department (such as physics pub nights and puppy yoga!). Something I wish we had more of in the department is a sense of community, and I will try my best to create fun events and opportunities for you to make this happen.

I also think communication between the students and the department is an area that could be improved. By organising more opportunities where you can interact with members of staff and voice your opinions, I aim to create a more direct link between the students and the physics department.

As a student, I wish we had more opportunities to learn about study techniques. Therefore, I want to invite speakers for a lecture series on study techniques, something I think we could all benefit from.
