Yo
I'm running to be your President/dictator for next year. Having increased the number of socials from two to twenty, organised both varsity matches and created the officially unofficial meme page in my role as Social Sec, I believe that President is the next step. We are a great club, but also one with untapped potential!
My election pledges:
- More integration with between the A and B-team
- This will help us feel like a more balanced club, and joint training exercises will help create a pipeline for players from the B to A-team.
- C-team for natties...?
- We were unfortunately too late with it this year, but with more members, we will be to storming to sheffield with two full mini-buses.
- Jerseys by JANUARY (Christmas if possible)
- Learning from the mistakes of this year, I will work alongside the new Equipment Manager and Treasurer to ensure that we stick to a strict timeline with the jersey order. No more tape falling off peoples' backs onto the ice or repping a random name and number.
- Greater organisation for payment, membership, kit posession, teamsheets etc.
- No more surprise training bills of £100 at the end of the term. This will also make the lives of the committee much easier. Spreadsheets spreadsheets spreadsheets.
(Bonus pledge just for the committee: committee meetings on Teams. Fergus, you will be gone and with your departure, so will your shitty Zoom meetings that kick us out after a time limit)
