Yashita Saxena

Hi! I am Yashita, a first-year Econ, Finance, and Data Science student, and I am excited to run for Treasurer. If you haven’t gotten the memo already, I can promise I will manage our money well. As treasurer I promise to be transparent in the way our funds are used effectively to deliver the best events and socials all year round. From one of the biggest Garba nights to the memorable Soneri Ball, next year will be even more magical.

Why me?

• Like the camaraderie I witnessed at London Zone and Nationals, I aim to foster a collaborative environment within the committee.
• This will ensure that everyone is on the same page so we can work together with our financial resources to deliver society's missions and goals.
• I am confident that I will make a good candidate for this role given my background in accounting and finance as I have carried out relevant work experience and been heavily involved in the investment society’s student run fund: QT Capital.
• I am an organized individual and can manage my time well so I am sure I will be able to dedicate a good amount of time and effort to this role.
