Atharva Vaishampayan
Hi,
I'm Atharva, and I'm excited to be running for the position of Industrial Relations & Sponsorship Officer. To ensure that every student has a worthwhile and interesting experience during our time at Imperial, I want to forge strong connections between our academic endeavours and the practical components of our course.
Linking with Industry: I'll plan interactive seminars and workshops that will provide us the chance to explore practical applications and obtain knowledge that complements our academic side.
Maintain Open Lines of Communication: Openness is essential. To make sure that everyone feels involved and connected, I promise to keep you informed about interesting opportunities, forthcoming events, and collaborations on a regular basis.
My previous experience as a cofounder of my school's Engineering Society involved organising speeches and workshops with guests and companies. During my time there, we received student-led talks and demonstrations, as well as hands-on experience through the EngSoc Crest Award Programme, in which teams collaborated to create a functioning device.
I am excited to contribute to the hardworking spirit of our Chemical Engineering Society. With your help, I wish to foster an environment in which our shared enthusiasm for chemical engineering is honoured and each member feels valued.
Thank you for considering me for this fantastic opportunity,
Atharva Vaishampayan.
