Aran Takhar

The office of men's captain is riddled with great names: Pomfret, Field, Lunn... and now to add Takhar to that list. In my 2 years at the club, we can agree I've thrown myself all in! Whether it be competing at LUCA and BUCS, trying a new sport in the form of javelin, and recently in my time as social sec.

Now let us jog through a few reasons why I'd be the perfect fit for next year's committee:

Men's captain is a role that is about turning up! I can proudly designate myself as the most involved candidate for this position having a stellar attendance rate at ICXCAC activities. We've had some cracking socials including Xmas dinner, various nights out, and some very successful breakfast runs. And we've has some awesome races too!

My previous experience on the committee has only fortified my love for the club. We have grown the club a great amount this year and it has been such a pleasure seeing each and every one of you turn up and have a good time with us! The role of social sec can be quite intense but I've loved every minute and I'm fully aware of what I need to do to be the best men's captain possible!

I live and breathe this club and will continue this energy for the 24/25 season!
