Daniel Sanmuganathan

Hi everyone, I'm Daniel, and I'll be running for Secretary of SORA!

Currently, I am secretary for GP Society and Nutritank Society, where I make separate email lists and release newsletters for both, take minutes, and organise room bookings. I have learnt how to quickly produce emails promoting a society, and I am responsible for releasing newsletter posts within days of being notified.

As Academic Representative for Phase 1b (year 2) of ICSM, I have developed skills in managing deadlines, contacting multiple members of faculty, as well as providing constructive criticism to the medical school. Most importantly, I know how to respond to student feedback and use feedback to make practical changes, which will benefit greatly for further growing and developing SORA.

Being academically motivated, I am highly interested in research, and would maximise my time as secretary, learning from other committee members, students, and researchers we interact with.
