Hey everyone, I'm Diya! I'm thrilled to apply for the position of Secretary in Acute Care Society.

With a deep appreciation and passion for the fields of Intensive Care, Anaethetics and Acute Medicine, I am eager to be a part of the advancement of the society's mission of fostering interest and promoting participation in these dynamic fields among our fellow medical students. As someone who has a lot of first-hand experience with seeing how Acute Care runs, I have come to appreciate the ins and outs, the nuances and the dedication that comes with the field.

As Secretary, I aim to bring my commitment and organisational skills to the society, and as an excellent teamworker, I will ensure smooth operations and effective communication among members. A firm believer of collaboration and engagement, I am committed to being involved in bringing to life enriching interactive experiences that will spark interest, while providing valuable insights into career pathways.

Additionally, I am dedicated to prioritising initiatives that provide aspiring early academic researchers within the medical school a platform to showcase their work; not only providing them with opportunities for mentorship, but also foster collaboration among peers.

If given the opportunity to be Secetary for Acute Care Society, I will make sure to help in the cultivation of an environment where aspiring Acute Care Specialty physicians are encouraged to flourish.
