Audrey Fung

Hi everyone! My name is Audrey, a second-year chemistry student running to be your next treasurer in WiB! As an active member of this society, I appreciate the opportunities I have encountered to develop networking skills and gain industrial experiences from WiB. Hence, I would love to get more involved in the coming year!

So why me? I am extremely responsible and approachable with strong organisational and time management skills. Subsequently, I believe my experiences in predicting budget costs and handling finances for large events in high school has prepared me for this role.

As treasurer, my key aims are to:

1. Keep track of all finances and ensure the most profitable price has been negotiated for every academic or social event.
2. Swiftly obtain claim / budget approvals from the union.
3. Work closely with committee members to deliver society activities and events in a collaborative and inclusive manner.
4. Create opportunities for all society members to explore different career paths.

And most importantly, I would love to foster a welcoming and supportive community of like-minded individuals. Thank you for taking the time to read this manifesto!
