Ivana Kolundzic

Hi everyone, we’re Ivana & Aditi and we’d love to be your Conference Co-Chairs next year!

We have both been greatly interested in O&G since the beginning of medical school and with our teamwork and passion, we feel qualified to continue the society’s conference success. Having both attended the ICOGS conference and been on subcommittee, we have a deep insight into the inner workings of such a rewarding event.

Here are our experiences and achievements:

• Ivana’s current role as ICOGS Events and Social Officer has proven her commitment to our society;
• Ivana’s work on the ICSM Paediatrics’ Community & Outreach division this year solidified her work ethic and refined her communication skills to develop relationships with external contacts;
• Aditi’s broad managerial experience includes successfully organising an inter-university dance competition with over 180 participants, with her participation in the Paediatric Conference subcommittee further building on her event-running skills.

Our aims:

• Maintain a practical workshop-focused approach;
• Obtain RCOG accreditation for conference attendance;
• Introduce an optional flash networking hour, so interested students can interact with professionals in the field and build connections;
• Incorporate a FemTech-orientated workshop and provide attendees with knowledge on up-and-coming technological advancements in the field;
• Expand our target audience (sixth form and external students), inspiring interest and increasing accessibility to O&G.

Together, we can reflect on our experiences of helping run other university events to manifest our vision for the ICOGS Conference.
