Hello, this is Eylul!
Note: I’m currently on an ‘Interruption of Studies’ and will be joining back during the summer term, hence why I’m unable to directly nominate myself for this role. Thank you Wei Jen for helping!
For the past 2 years, I have been part of the Pipeline team as a proofreader. Being part of this team has been an extremely rewarding experience, and reading these articles is a major factor in why I love ChemEng even under all the stress. I would like to become your Pipeline Editor for next year in hopes that I’ll also organise and bring out content that’ll be helpful and entertaining, and give you reasons to think “Wow, ChemEng is pretty cool”. Being part of this team for 2 years has given me a good insight into how to run things, and also being the Webmaster for IC Art Club this year has definitely upped my Canva design skills. These experiences make me suitable to become the next Pipeline Editor as I have worked closely with all the different aspects required to produce a great magazine. Next year, I wish to continue Pipeline’s success and reach out to more alumni to hear more from graduates about their graduate life. I also want to explore and include recent news about the industry while continuing to include advice and experiences from current students and professors.
With your vote, I can use my skills to their fullest and provide another year of amazing student-led publications!
