Respiratory Medicine: Academic Officer (Early Years)

Hi everyone! My name is Anoushka, and I am honoured to present my manifesto for the position of Academic Officer (Early Years). Having been your Events Officer this year, I have a good insight on the inner workings of the society, and it has been a pleasure working with the team. I believe I am fit for the role as I have been a lecturer for Phase 1a students and have been coaching prospective medical students with ICSM Vision. Since we are a relatively new society, I am excited to have the opportunity to introduce many new and exciting learning opportunities for those like me, enthralled by the world of Respiratory Medicine. A few of my ideas include:

Supporting students in research opportunities, promoting evidence-based practice amongst students.

Provision of academic resources and highly interactive lectures on the respiratory medicine content covered in exams.
