Isabella Mariani

Hi guys! We’re Isabella and Eva and we’re excited to be running together as co-chairs! We're aiming to develop an inclusive, dynamic and lively EFDS community by creating more socials, expanding leadership opportunities, and creating more career/subject-related events.

From Union meets to relaxed, fun and easy to attend get-togethers, there will be socials for everyone - and if you don’t think so, we want to implement mechanisms to allow all members to contribute!

If you want to get more involved (with as much responsibility as you want), we will be liaising with the Department to create more roles! We also want to organise EFDS study groups, creating an academically supportive environment that works for you.

How many different society mailing lists are you on? If you’re tired of trying to be in three different places at once to learn more about careers and topics you’re interested in, we want to organise networking events, talks by experts and collaborations with other societies and the Business School!

How do you know that we will deliver? In their respective schools, Isabella ran an Economics Society and Eva was a Student Leader! These roles entailed orchestrating big events, inviting guest speakers, being a voice for students and managing funds. These experiences taught us to collaborate and communicate effectively, strong organisational skills, and how to stay on track of goals.
