Vanakkam!

I’m Kenisa and I would love to be your president next year. I have really enjoyed being in subcommittee and hope to continue working with Tsoc for another unforgettable year!

As co-host of games night, I engaged the audience with my enthusiasm. I was able to create a warm, uplifting atmosphere and communicated effectively with my team, ensuring the event ran smoothly.

Choreoing and teaching our Act Reveal for MM30 helped me develop my leadership skills, acting as a good source of direction for my team. I confidently voiced my opinions and allowed my teammates to voice theirs. I didn’t hesitate to be firm when needed. I showed a good balance between teamwork and leadership.

I have previously organised and hosted a concert for over 400 people, allowing me to understand the challenges and pressures associated with organising events, and developing skills like time management, good organisation and rapidly thinking of solutions when faced with unexpected, last-minute challenges.

AIMS:

- Working closely with head of culture to embrace and promote the cultural side of Tsoc more, by implementing more cultural events/teaching, allowing more engagement

- Integrating ourselves more with freshers by organising more Tsoc family meet ups

- Collaborating with other societies, showing that Tsoc is an inclusive network, not just for Tamils

I will continue to build on the good relationships I have with everyone applying, ensuring they feel comfortable approaching me with any concerns. I believe my enthusiasm, passion, skills and experiences will allow for an impactful year for Tsoc!
