Hello, I'm Zak!

In the spring elections I stood for Web Master and also Safety Officer, and was elected for both of those roles. I chose Web Master over Safety Officer but now I might have to be Gear Secretary instead of either fo those!

I study mechanical engineering, so have an inherent love for mechanical things (such as gear). I've been climbing for about 9 years so know my way around all indoor climbing equipment and a decent amount of outdoor equipment too.

By the end of this summer, I will be a qualified indoor climbing instructor, so will be pretty up-to-date with all the BMC's latest advice/regulations when it comes to using gear.

I'm not sure what else to say, I don't even know if anyone else is running. 🙃
