Rohan Shah

Hi, I'm Rohan, and I would love to be your 2nd Team Captain next season. Having played for both the 1st and 2nd teams in my two years at Imperial, I have loved every moment of it. With experience captaining at school, club, and district levels, as well as playing under and learning from a variety of captains at university, I believe I am the ideal candidate for this role.

As 2nd Team Captain, some of my main goals would be:

1.Honesty in Selection - I will be happy to speak to anyone regarding selection and explain my thought process behind any decisions.

2.Role Clarity - I will provide everyone with a clear role in the team, which they can focus on during winter training and throughout the summer.

3.Stronger Focus on Fielding - Fielding is an aspect that has let us down over the years, and it is something we can all improve on.

4.Friendly Games Throughout the Season - This will allow squad players a chance to prove why they should be selected for league games.

5.Training with the 1st Team - This provides an opportunity to train with a wider pool of players and learn from some of the 1st team players.

The main goal for next year is to strive for promotion and have a successful LUSL tournament. With the talented squad we have, we should definitely be playing at a higher level of cricket. I hope I can get your vote and can't wait for another great season of cricket.
