Hello everyone! My name is Hannah and I am running to be AMSA's secretary for next year.

Having been a part of AMSA for the past two years, I have had a great experience so far meeting new people, attending exciting socials and useful academic events and schemes. This year, I am applying to run for the secretary committee position in order to give back to the society and with hopes to maintain and contribute further to the amazing atmosphere and sense of community.

As Secretary, I would uphold the highest levels of integrity and organisation (and enthusiasm hehe) to aim to achieve the following important aspects:

1. Ensure smooth and prompt communication (with the committee, with members and with non-members and external parties alike)
2. Informative and comprehensive monthly newsletters which contain detailed descriptions of upcoming events and opportunities to submit any questions, comments and suggestions (e.g., with a feedback form which is reviewed regularly)
3. Succinct and accurate meeting minutes and maintenance of database
4. Accessible event promotion via website, email, Facebook events, and other
5. Be an approachable point of contact :) and work closely with the committee to reflect the needs and wants of AMSA members in what we do
