LANGQIU ZHAO

My name is Langqiu Zhao, a PhD student from the Center for Environmental Policy. I am running to be the Deputy Head of the Careers Department (Academic) of CSSA. I have great passion and ambition to bring the latest academic cutting-edge information to Chinese students at Imperial College and to create a promising academic platform. I plan to build the CSSA career department into a bridge of cooperation between Imperial College and other universities, providing students with broader career development guidance.

My focus will include building stronger academic partnerships with other universities, promoting information exchange and research collaboration, and providing tailored academic support to Chinese students. My vision is to develop CSSA into a bridge to promote academic exchanges between undergraduate and postgraduate students and academic communication between IC Chinese students and other universities in China and the UK.

I will bring more resources for academic development to students at Imperial College. I plan to create a platform that will make it easier for IC to build closer relationships with academic institutions and industry partners in the UK and China, providing IC students with more exclusive academic opportunities and career information such as research internships and academic conferences. My goal is also to expand the network and invite more scholars from the forefront of the industry, which can provide valuable guidance and networking opportunities for the IC students.
