Hi everyone, I’m Isabella! I moved here a few years ago from Italy and am currently studying Economics, Finance and Data Science. I owe so much of my professional journey to the connections I’ve made through this society and am excited to give back by introducing an industry-tailored group networking scheme, focused on connecting you with women within and beyond Imperial.

From meeting in gorgeous bars (like Josephine last year), to forming a close connection with my Alumni mentor, and catching up over pizzas after exciting panel events, the bright and supportive WIB community proved invaluable in rebuilding my professional confidence and providing actionable advice.

While women’s early career support often lacks depth, the advice of industry professionals and women at different stages of your same journey does not.

To support you, I plan to create small networking groups tailored by industry, connecting women alumni, professionals and current students, including the Business School - offering deeper insights into your chosen field and more meaningful networking opportunities.

As Chair of my school’s Economics Society, I set up a successful mentorship scheme for younger students and led and collaborated on events of up to 50+ guests, organising event itineraries and inviting notable guest speakers and alumni. I really enjoyed forming and maintaining connections on behalf of my school, developing strong organisational, networking and collaboration skills which would help me in this role.
