Sarah Zha

I am Ying Zha, also known as Sarah, I am doing Geophysics at Imperial College London. Over the past two-plus years within our Chinese Students & Scholars Association, I have evolved from a member of the Sponsorship Department to the Head of the Cultural Department. Today, I am excited to run for the role of Deputy President (External).

Experience and Progress My journey in the association has been deeply enriching, from managing sponsorship initiatives to leading cultural events such as our engaging Texas Hold'em nights and creating unique merchandise. These experiences have not only strengthened our community bonds but also improved my leadership and organizational skills.

Vision for the Future As Deputy President (External), I am committed to:

• Enhancing Community Engagement: Introduce vibrant social events, including an annual Freshers' Ball, to welcome and integrate new students into our community.
• Building Stronger Partnerships: Strengthen our ties with key cultural and educational institutions, increasing support and opportunities for our members.
• Innovating Fundraising Methods: Develop and implement creative fundraising strategies to ensure robust funding for our activities and events.
