Caithlin Ho

Hi everyone! I’m Caithlin, a first year Materials Science and Engineering student. As one that is passionate about energy and sustainability, I am enthusiastic in leading projects that aim to solve energy problems we face today.

🌿Fulfilling the role of VP(projects):

As a proactive and empathetic person, I strive to understand the needs of team members working hard in various energy projects and try my best to provide any form of support possible. This ranges from actively reaching out to contact external organizations, brainstorming and consolidating suggestions and ideas from different people, or even planning fun activities to boost team morale and foster bonding. ☺️

With the prior experience of leading projects including organizing coding challenges and teaching underprivileged children, I am confident in splitting and managing various teams concurrently, checking in, and gathering resources. I hope to use my skills to contribute to the energy society by organizing lab space for related projects, gathering resources, and incentivising new students to hop on to interesting projects.

😊Initiatives!

Furthermore, I hope to develop and make our projects more engaging and fun! Some initiatives I have ( subjected to viability and demand) include:

1️⃣ Projects involving collaboration with energy societies across other UK Universities or societies in Imperial!

2️⃣ Sharing/progress tracking sessions within the society or even across other energy societies where members not directly involved in the various projects can join and contribute ideas too.

3️⃣ Collaboration with alumni or external organizations for related projects.
