Hey everyone! I am Nicole Radley, I am a first year Medical Student and I am running as Publicity Officer for the Plastic Surgery Society.
As someone deeply passionate about Medicine and Surgery, I would be more than honoured to cover this position and guide peers and younger medical students towards education and research opportunities.
I have portrayed my deep interest into research winning the first prize in SORA’s Young Researchers Conference in 2023 with my research upon AL Amyloidosis. I furthermore, presented a group research at the European Stroke Conference in Basel, Switzerland, being able to interact with international scientists and healthcare professionals. I wish to transmit my same passion for research and help students get involved at any stage of their journey through Medicine, honing into individual interests.
My goal as Publicity Officer is to inform as many students as possible of the wonderful opportunities offered by this society, delivering with precision and clear communication. I believe to portray this in my scientific communication, as well as my editing, writing and creative skills in my extracurricular.
