Infectious Diseases Society: Early Years’ Representative

Hey everyone! I am Nicole Radley, I am a first year Medical Student and I am running as an Early Year Representative.

As someone deeply passionate about Infectious Sciences I would be more than honoured to cover this position and guide peers and younger medical students towards education and research opportunities.

I have portrayed my deep interest into research winning the first prize in SORA’s Young Researchers Conference in 2023 with my research upon AL Amyloidosis. I furthermore, presented a group research at the European Stroke Conference in Basel, Switzerland, being able to interact with international scientists and healthcare professionals. I wish to transmit my same passion for research and help students get involved at any stage of their journey through Medicine, honing into individual interests.

My goal as an Early Years Representative is to inform as many students as possible of the opportunities offered by the society. I would like to be a reference point for any academic and personal medical endeavour, to guarantee possibilities and help individuals advance throughout their journey in Medicine.

Thank you for reading my manifesto!
